Matteo Icardi

Research Interests

My main current research interests are the multi-scale modeling and simulation of multiphase flows, flows in porous media and non-equilibrium flows, by means of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), High Performance Computing (HPC), stochastic and kinetic methods.
I have been working also in the field of turbulent multiphase and reactive flows, Large Eddy Simulations (LES), Adaptive Mesh Refinement (AMR) and Inverse Problems.
